Has anyone here went through the process of obtaining a real estate license for personal use (not actively pursuing clients)?
I’ve started to look into it and really wondered if anyone that has done it feels it was worth the time and money invested?
It seems I can take all the classes online. I’m not sure about paying a desk fee for two years before being independent, plus keeping insurance. It seems it would cost around 2k/year to maintain the license, but it seems it would be beneficial for buying investment properties and buying/selling future houses.
I would keep my day job, but it seems something that I’d like to do for fun, just wanted some feedback on the downsides.
Any help will be apprecited.
