Hi,
We are currently able to Project Server 2016 On Premise for one of our Clients. We are now stuck at defining a Security Hierarchy as the Client does not have a fixed Organization Topology defined while assigning Project permissions.
So the Current Topology is pretty Random.
An Overview of the Topology is explained in the below Example:
A Project Manager from an Area can be assigned as a Project Manager to any project / s in any other area depending on his / her availability.
The same case is for Project / Area Directors also.
Next, A single Project can have one / many Project Managers / Project directors who will have Read / Write access to the project.
Our current assumption is that we might need to create two Security Groups and two Security Categories for each Project. One each for Read only and Read / write access.
1. Is there a way I can dynamically create Secuirt Groups and Categories when a Project is created in server using CSOM / PSI?
2. Is there any restriction on the number of Security Groups and Categories that can coexist in a Project Server 2016?
3. Or Is there any alternative and more efficient way in which this can be handled?
Please help.
Thanks!
I did not find the right solution from the Internet.
